Buying Power
Hello readers, i don’t how many of you are already feeling the fuel price hike but i am already, on average i am spending about RM350 a week that’s just for petrol not including my parking and toll. I think in total i would spent about RM750 a week just to travel to go about doing my business.
Anyway i was reading an article 2 days back and to my surprise according to the census only 5% of households in the country have a monthly income of RM 10,000 or more a month. This mean out of 4 or 5 million households in Malaysia, only 200,000 to 250,000 households are earning more then RM 10,000 a month.
With the increase of price to almost everything that is being sold, i think this will go even lower in the coming months. The last i spoke to my mum, a rice bag which she use to buy ar RM 25 to RM 35 is now selling at RM 50. Here she has 2 options 1 continue buying the same rice with the higher price or change to another local brand which is cheaper. Looking at the quality of the local rice she rather pay the RM50 and buy the imported rice due to the high quality they come with.
It is true as she cooked the local rice few days back and the moment i saw the rice i knew something was not right, so i asked my mum “Whats wrong with the rice” she told me this is a local rice which i bought to test it out and it is no where near comparing to the imported rice.
If the government can’t even control the price of the rice, which is the most basic household item, what are they good for then? They want everyone to eat “ubi” or what?
Picked my cousin up yesterday on the way back home, she use to drive to Kuala Lumpur for work and after fuel hike she decided to take the public transport. She was clearly very angry with KTM, the trains are so full, dirty and smelly, but what can she do? same thing she has 2 options shut up and use the train or drive. ha!
I would like to hear from people who are facing the same issue as about.

Bribery, Where does it start?
Bribery has always been a hot topic in Malaysia. It has came to a level where everyone talks about it. Even a old man who runs a small coffee shop by the road side in town has to bribery monthly so his shop will not be taken away.
So where do people really learn about bribery? Now i was at an event in one of the local Uni yesterday, given it was Saturday morning i notice the hall was almost full. I was thinking that this kids are really keen on wanting to know what we are going to tell them during the talk.
I was wrong, as i was talking to one of person incharge of the event, he told me that they have been having this for the past few weeks and all they students are here all the weekends. So i told him that its good that this kids are really keen on their career path as the talk was on future career path for them.
To my surprise he replied, “oh they get points for their exam if they attend this events”, and that is when i realise even when they are a student they are being bribed to attend event like this! I am sure the Uni does not see it as a bribe but i think what they are doing is bribery, because you are telling the students i will give you points and you attend the event, its like “I will pay you money and you approve my license” does it sound the same? for me they do.
So i hope not all Uni’s are doing this “bribery” and they should find other interesting ways to get the students to attend event rather then bribing them.

Anwar Arrested
Sometime i wonder what is happening to Malaysia? Today the leader says “Petrol price will not go up till next year” and the next thing you know the price is up! Cops say “Anwar has till 2pm or else he will be arrested” and right at 12.55 they arrested him! Such a joke.
And the reason given was that he was travelling towards his house and not to the Police Head Office? How stupid can they be? This is really makes me think, this are the people who suppose to protect us and investigate our cases? Oh God please help them. It did not stop there, and then the minister comes with statement that it does not matter when he is arrested the most important is that his statement is taken.
I sincerely fell very sad to read the news on how they took him to the hospital and made him strip naked. How could they do this just because someone had a case against him. If the cops are so professional they should do the same to DPM and his wife! and worst still they are involve in a murder case and not some damn sodomy case! BN is going down the drain!
I pray that Anwar will recover from all this and wish that he will be the PM soon! Sorry BN you have lost it all.
Today morning again the rakyat was made fool by having the damn police block! i was suppose to be at office at 8 to open the office for my GM as he was having a meeting there and at 7.35 i was still at sungai besi because of the damn block! Again and Again BN is f***kingup with the rakyats. I truly think that BN does not care about the rakyats, all of them are just too busy taking care off their own ass!
I have to say it today, for what they have done to Anwar, they will lose even more votes.
Last but not least, why do you worry so much about a person’s sex life! Leave him alone and he will be a good leader for Malaysia.
